Hiring of persons with disabilities gets govt boost

THE government will leverage SkillsFuture so that persons with disabilities can contribute meaningfully in the workplace, while more support will be extended to the employers that hire them.
Speaking at the inaugural Inclusive Business Forum on Friday evening, Deputy Prime Minister and Co-Ordinating Minister for Economic and Social Policies Tharman Shanmugaratnam outlined some of the ways that the government will promote employment for those with disabilities.
