Visa Singapore unveils new payment service
Aim is to cut the proportion of online transactions that are cancelled due to a cumbersome payment process, especially on mobile devices
Singapore
VISA Singapore on Wednesday launched a new payment service. This service aims to reduce the proportion of online transactions that are cancelled because of a cumbersome payment process, especially on mobile devices.
The payment service, Visa Checkout, cuts down the payment details that frequent online shoppers have to give. It allows users to pay for their shopping at a single point with various participating merchants. This means that consumers would not have to register with numerous online retailers, or repeatedly fill in credit card and shipping details.
