FOR sale signs are appearing on office buildings in the City of London financial district at the fastest pace in at least five years as Asian investors seek to profit from a surge in the value of the pound.
Properties valued at £6.1 billion (S$13.2 billion) are on the market in the City, a 510 per cent increase since May, according to Great Portland Estates plc data.
