New Zealand business sentiment rises to 6-mth high in November: survey
[WELLINGTON] New Zealand business sentiment continued to improve in November, rising to a six-month high, an ANZ Bank survey showed on Monday.
The survey's headline measure showed a net 14.6 per cent of respondents expected the economy to improve over the year ahead.
It compared with a 10.5 per cent optimism level in the previous poll.
A net 32 per cent of respondents expected their own businesses to grow in the next 12 months, from 23.7 per cent last month.
Inflation expectations eased to 1.64 per cent compared with 1.70 per cent in the previous survey.
