Survey finds more ICT professionals willing to stay put in industry
Students are now keener on ICT, so it's good news for a sector with a shortage of professionals: observers

MORE infocomm technology (ICT) professionals are looking to stay on in the industry, and tertiary students are showing greater interest in studies - and eventual careers - in the field, a survey has found.
The Infocomm Survey of 2014, commissioned by the Singapore Computer Society (SCS), has found that fewer than two in 10 ICT professionals have plans to leave the industry, down from three in 10 saying this in the 2011 edition of this annual survey.
