[SINGAPORE] Malaysia's ringgit jumped more than 3 per cent to a near two-month high on Friday as investors unwound bearish bets on the currency after minutes of the Federal Reserve's last meeting added to fading expectations of a US rate hike this year.
The ringgit rallied 3.4 per cent to 4.0950 per dollar, its strongest since Aug 20.
Kuala Lumpur stocks also rose more than 1 per cent.
