Choose-your-own-romance over dinner
FANCY a three-course dinner at Zott's True Alps and a chance to contemplate the true meaning of love? A group of talented theatre practitioners has created a play for adults that lets diners decide whether a romantic couple will stay together or not.
Throughout dinner, the couple will act out their love story, including its most intimate details. But at critical points of their relationship, they will ask the diners where they'd like the story to go next. Based on their decisions, a different story of the couple would emerge every night.
The dinner theatre production, titled Mind Map of Love, is based on a book of the same title by Christian Zotts, who also started the restaurant on Amoy Street. It takes place over two floors of Zott's True Alps restaurant. On each floor, a different couple (either Brendon Fernandez and Liz Lazan or Amanda Tee and Rosemary McGowan) will mingle with the diners while playing their parts.
