It's Bank of Singapore's day
The team swings the third leg at TMCC and surges into the No 2 spot overall to snap at Seagull Gayatri.
A FINE stableford score of 110 by Bank of Singapore (OCBC) in the third leg of The Business Times Corporate Golf League 2015 not only gave the team the round's top-score honours, but also the second position on the table with 308 points, behind leaders Seagull Gayatri.
Captain Olivier Denis, who was unable to play at Tanah Merah Country Club's (TMCC) Tampines Course last Tuesday, was thrilled with his team's achievement. "An amazing performance from the team at TMCC. This is the best-ever result for the Bank of Singapore team. I am very proud of them and want to take this opportunity to congratulate the team for this outstanding performance and great effort as well as extraordinary team spirit."
He adds: "Being second on the table on a cumulative basis is also due to the past line-ups that had strong performances in the previous legs. Let me also congratulate all the players that have contributed to bring Bank of Singapore to second position. Strategy-wise it will be to keep up the strong momentum through great team spirit."
