AIIB appoints Jin Liqun as president: Xinhua

[BEIJING] The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) has appointed Jin Liqun, a former Chinese deputy finance minister, as its president, state news agency Xinhua said on Monday.
The AIIB, which is led by China, was officially created in June and is set to rival the World Bank in development work in Asia.
