[SINGAPORE] Singapore will provide advance estimates of gross domestic product (GDP) for the second quarter at 8 am (0000 GMT) on July 14, the Ministry of Trade and Industry said on Tuesday.

A quarterly survey by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) released in June showed that economists expect GDP to expand by 2.7 per cent on a year-on-year basis in the April-June quarter.

In the first quarter, Singapore's economy expanded 2.6 per cent from a year earlier. Compared to the previous quarter, GDP grew 3.2 per cent in January-March on an annualised and seasonally adjusted basis.

The government's full-year forecast is for Singapore's economy to expand 2-4 per cent in 2015.
