Hong Kong: Stocks close 1.03% lower

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong equities retreated 1.03 per cent, extending the previous day's losses and tracking another sell-off in mainland markets, with Chinese firms listed in the city tumbling.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index slipped 260.97 points to 24,975.31 on turnover of HK$172.48 billion (S$30.2 billion).
