Netherlands-based ASYX provides a secure web-based supply chain finance platform

APEXPEAK, a Singapore-headquartered FinTech (financial technology) company, has acquired the Netherlands-based ASYX, a supply chain finance and collaboration solutions provider.
Speaking to The Business Times, Gakim Solomons, president and CEO of ApexPeak, which was founded in 2012, said the company provides working capital "quickly and efficiently" to SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) in Asia-Pacific, Middle-East and Africa (APMEA) region - "businesses that are typically under-served to qualify for access to credit". ApexPeak has a South African subsidiary which operates as Bibby Apex.
