AIA S'pore: H1 new business value up 19%

INSURER AIA Singapore has posted a 19 per cent year-on-year increase in value of new business (VONB) to US$142 million for the six months ended May 31, 2015, driven by sales of new long-term packaged participating and regular premium unit-linked products.
VONB measures the expected profits from new premiums and is a key yardstick for growth.
