SMALL and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are displaying a more wary sense of optimism, with the expectation that sales and profits will weaken over the next six months.
According to the SBF-DP SME Index, a six-month forward-looking index which measures the sentiments of SMEs, the level of business confidence among Singapore SMEs fell compared to last quarter, from 54.4 to 54.0.
