Europe: Stocks rise at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets climbed at the start of trading on Thursday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.18 per cent at 7,041.03 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 index gained 0.17 per cent to 11,887.14 points and the CAC 40 in Paris advanced 0.11 per cent to 5,217.08 points compared with Wednesday's close.
