S$15m pledged to extend programmes for seafarers

THE Certificate of Competency (COC) (Special Limits) programmes for deck officers and marine engineers will be extended for another three years.
This was announced by Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim, parliamentary secretary of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Transport, at the graduation ceremony for the COC (Special Limits) programmes on Friday.
