Hong Kong: Stocks open flat
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks opened marginally higher on Wednesday as investors await the Federal Reserve's latest policy meeting, hoping for some guidance about its timetable for raising interest rates.
The Hang Seng Index added 10.35 points to 28,453.10 In mainland China the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.67 per cent, or 30.10 points, to 4,446.12.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, edged down 0.27 per cent, or 5.96 points, to 2,202.60.
