Sino Grandness eyes Thailand juice market
Plan to sell Garden Fresh brand there by H2 and to other parts of region eventually
Singapore
MAINBOARD-listed Sino Grandness Food Industry plans to start selling its Garden Fresh brand of fruit juices in Thailand by the second half of the year, and eventually in other parts of South-east Asia.
This comes after the Shenzhen-based group announced last year that Thai conglomerates Thoresen Thai Agencies (TTA) and PM Group were acquiring stakes of 9 per cent and 3.77 per cent respectively in the company via a private placement of new shares. Chairman of PM Group, Prayudh Mahagitsiri - dubbed the coffee king of Thailand - has been appointed honorary chairman. In an interview with The Business Times this week, Sino Grandness chief executive Huang Yupeng said that the group hopes to leverage on their partners to eventually widen its distribution network in Thailand and the region.
