US household debt levels rise in Q4

[NEW YORK] Fourth-quarter US household debt report from the New York Federal Reserve Bank:
US household debt up US$117 billion to US$11.83 trillion
Student loan balances up US$31 billion to US$1.16 trillion
Overall loan delinquency rate unchanged at 4.3 per cent. Student loan delinquency rate rises to 11.3 per cent from 11.1 per cent.
Auto loan delinquency rate rises to 3.5 per cent from 3.1 per cent.
