China: Shares down in morning trade

[SHANGHAI] Chinese shares were slightly lower in morning trade on Thursday, tracking overnight losses on Wall Street, dealers said.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.19 per cent, or 6.22 points, to 3,216.22.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, edged down 0.03 per cent, or 0.38 points, to 1,445.48.
