Sng Ngoi May retires from SPH, takes on adviser role in retail property management
WITH effect from Feb 1, Sng Ngoi May will relinquish her appointment as Singapore Press Holdings' (SPH) executive vice-president of retail property management.
The 69-year-old will take on the role of adviser, retail property management, SPH.
Mrs Sng joined Times Publishing Berhad (which was merged into SPH in 1984) as group editorial manager in 1981. She has since served in various management positions in SPH, including as director of Orchard 290 Ltd (owner of Paragon) since 1997.
She is also the chairman of the Orchard Road Business Association.
Said SPH chief executive officer Alan Chan: "I would like to thank May for her many years of dedicated service to SPH. She has helped build a solid foundation for our property portfolio, and contributed immensely to the success of our three shopping malls. I look forward to her continued association with SPH as advisor, retail property management, and wish her all the best in her other endeavours."
