MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 3.74 points to 1741.26.
Volume was 43 million lots worth RM31.89 million.
Losers outnumbered gainers 98 to 76.
