AIRBUS Group NV sees Mexico's first high-speed train as a magnet to draw engineers to the booming industrial city of Queretaro, just as the company expands its factory there.
It is not the only one happy to see the railroad project back on track after being derailed by a government scandal. The 210 km train project from Mexico City could boost investment in the state by as much as 30 per cent, according to the Queretaro government.
