JEP unit signs lease for JTC land
JEP Holdings' subsidiary, JEP Precision Engineering, has signed a 30-year lease agreement with JTC for an 18,500 square metre parcel of land in Seletar Aerospace Park. The group estimates that it will need to invest about S$28 million over the next three years for the construction of a new building and to purchase new machinery, which will be funded through a long-term bank loan. JEP intends to relocate its primary manufacturing facilities from its current premises in Changi to this new land. All the machinery and equipment from Changi is expected to be brought over by end 2017.
