Singapore: Shares end higher

SINGAPORE shares end higher on Wednesday.
The Straits Times Index gained 12.14 points to 3,227.23.
Some 1.23 billion shares, valued at S$1.36 billion were traded. Gainers numbered 189 while losers numbered 224.
