Maximum public transport fare hike in 2015 will be 2.8%: Lui Tuck Yew

PUBLIC transport fares will not be increased by more than 2.8 per cent next year, said Transport Minister Lui Tuck Yew in an interview with Channel NewsAsia.
This is lower than the original roll-over figure of 3.4 per cent from the last fare review, and was due largely to a drop in energy costs.
