[ROME] The Italian navy said on Monday the death toll following a fire on board a car ferry in the Adriatic had risen to ten.
The updated figure followed an announcement by Italian officials that more than 40 passengers supposed to be on the boat were unaccounted for amid uncertainty over the accuracy of the Norman Atlantic's manifest lists.
