Rebates worth S$100 million to be doled out in January to Singaporean HDB households

ABOUT 800,000 Singaporean HDB households will receive S$100 million worth of GST Voucher - Utilities-Save (U-Save) rebates in January 2015.
Each eligible Singaporean household will receive up to S$195 from a regular voucher, and a special payment that was announced during Budget 2014. The amount is dependant on the size and type of HDB flats that the residents live in. The rebates are meant to offset utilities bills.
