Indonesia posts trade deficit of US$270m in September
[JAKARTA] Indonesia posted a US$270 million trade deficit in September, following a revised deficit of US$312 million in August, the statistics bureau said on Monday.
The median forecast from a Reuters poll of analysts was for a deficit in September of US$200 million.
The official preliminary estimate showed exports totaled US$15.28 billion in September, up 3.87 per cent from a year ago, while imports were US$15.55 billion, up 0.23 per cent.
