NOBODY said you needed a lot of wall space in order to be an art collector. Or 24-hour airconditioning. Just do what Jamshed K Fozdar does - put his money on Indian miniature paintings.

While their dimensions vary, these paintings average about A4 size each when framed and hung on a wall. And they are virtually maintenance-free - all they need is natural air flow and a space away from sunlight or moisture.

He speaks from experience as one who's been collecting such works for over 50 years, since his first purchase at a gallery in Bombay, India.
