'AMERICAN Blackout', a film that premiered on National Geographic last year, told a tale of a 10-day nationwide power outage in the United States caused by a cyber attack.

But this doesn't just occur in movies. Such seemingly apocalyptic threats, what we deemed as far-fetched concerns not too long ago, are now becoming increasingly imminent in today's interconnected world.
