Local startup GNum snags S$7m in seed funding from Tembusu (Amended)
Singapore
LOCAL startup GNum has secured S$7 million in seed funding from private equity firm Tembusu Partners. This is the largest investment in a startup that Tembusu Partners has made to date, and among the largest first-round investments in a startup here.
Now in its beta phase, GNum allows voice calls to be made for free from any electronic device, from PCs to mobile phones. Users can make these calls from browsers in PCs and laptops, or from the GNum app on mobile devices. Users do not need the app to receive a call on their mobile phone.
