Obayashi-Woh Hup venture bags S$1.57b Jewel, T1 job
Construction works will begin by year-end and the project is expected to be completed by end-2018

A JOINT venture of local construction firm Woh Hup and Obayashi Singapore has won the S$1.57 billion contract for the construction of Project Jewel and the expansion of Changi's Terminal 1.
The contract was awarded via a tender process by Jewel Changi Airport Trustee (JCAT) and airport operator Changi Airport Group (CAG). JCAT, the trustee-manager of Jewel Changi Airport Trust, was formed by CAG and CapitaMalls Asia - the shopping mall unit of CapitaLand Group - to jointly develop Project Jewel.
