Asian HNWIs look afield for better returns
ASIAN high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) are increasingly looking to invest beyond their domestic markets, seeking out differentiated products with higher potential yields and greater stability.
This fact comes from a research note released yesterday by East & Partners, based on interviews with 1,000 such individuals from 10 markets (ex-Japan) about their current and forecast asset allocation.
The overall proportion of assets allocated to equities among these HNWIs has been rising, from a total allocation of 42 per cent of investable assets a year ago to 44 per cent today.
