An exciting finish to Charity Drive
[SINGAPORE] The month-long BT-Coca-Cola World Cup Charity Drive had its climactic end with the "live" screening of the finals at the Marina Bay Sands (MBS) yesterday morning.
Some of the participating CEOs and their guests gathered at the hotel's plush Fuse Bar to witness Germany make history by being the first European team to win the World Cup in Latin America.
At half time, two cheques for $82,500 each were presented by BT Editor Alvin Tay to SportCares and BT Budding Artists Fund, the beneficiaries of the charity drive.
