ELDERLY satellite entrepreneurs of the world: Global Invacom Group might have a retirement package for you.

The ground-based satellite equipment specialist is embarking on an acquisition campaign to capture its industry's demographic quirk, and is in the final stages of securing a secondary listing in London to fill its war chest.

In essence, the pioneers who started businesses in making broadcast-satellite components and services are no longer young, said Global Invacom chief executive Tony Taylor, 51.
