MAINBOARD-listed Serial System posted a net profit of US$3.06 million for the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2013, a 63 per cent increase from the US$1.88 million last year.
Sales went up by 34 per cent to US$216.79 million as the group's turnover in North Asia increased by about 40 per cent.
This was mainly due to the growth of major product lines and new customers, which led to an increase in turnover in Greater China by 39 per cent, South Korea by 25 per cent, and Taiwan by 17 per cent.
