Neo Group breaks own catering record during CNY

LOCAL caterer Neo Group served up food at 1,118 events on the first day of the Chinese New Year alone, breaking its own Singapore Book of Records entry of 1,005 events clocked just last year.

The group said yesterday that it estimated that it served 30,000 guests on the first day of the festivities, 3,000 more than last year.

Over the Chinese New Year period from Jan 31 to Feb 14, it served at least 220,000 guests, nearly 25,000 more than the previous year.
