New database shows who's collecting what

ART collectors - like artists - range from the attention-seeking to the intensely private. But a new public database of the world's top collectors may make it harder for them to hide the details of their collection from everybody.

The newly-launched website Larry's List (larryslist.com) boasts an expanding list of art collectors, with information on who they are, what they do and what art they've collected.

Such information is extremely useful to art dealers and gallerists when sourcing for new clients.
