SIA and CAAS launch 'green package' flights to help curb emissions

Singapore Airlines (SIA) and the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) are working together on a series of 12 "green package" flights on the carrier's non-stop San Francisco-Singapore route as a commitment to the global effort to curb aviation emissions.
The "green package" flights, which will take place over a three-month period, combine the use of biofuels and optimised flight operations.
