SENIOR HEALTH CORRESPONDENT

Salma began her journalism career at The Business Times before covering aviation/tourism with The Straits Times. She spent five years in SPH’s multimedia division and a year in marketing before returning to her main passion: journalism. In 24 years of covering the health scene, she has become a subject-matter expert, and spotlighted lapses which have since been rectified. She has a BA from the University of Singapore and an MSc in strategic marketing from the National University of Ireland.
