60 more cash-withdrawal spots for DBS, POSB customers

DBS Bank said on Wednesday it has added about 60 SPH Buzz newsstand outlets to its POSB Cash-Point network. Such retail locations, now totalling 880, are non-bank cash-withdrawal points for DBS and POSB customers.

Customers can withdraw up to S$200 at these locations for free with any item purchased.

POSB Cash-Points are available at retail outlets such as 7-Eleven, and Cold Storage and SingPost, and are "specifically focused on key shopping stops so customers need not go out of their way to access cash withdrawal services", DBS said. "The service also benefits retail businesses as it helps reduce their outlets' cash holdings and, in turn, the effort involved in handling cash."
