STAY-AT-HOME parents, fresh graduates and mid-career switchers are among the pool of labour AIA Singapore is looking to tap, under its new employment scheme launched on Thursday (Jun 30).
The insurance group said its Financial Associate Scheme will introduce more than 500 financial sales advisory positions with a monthly base salary ranging between S$2,700 and S$8,000 along with quarterly performance-based bonuses. Successful candidates will also receive full-time employment benefits and training under the scheme.
AIA Singapore said the scheme addresses demand from fresh graduates and mid-career switchers who have an interest in financial services, while also providing a “stepping stone” for stay-at-home parents and women who wish to return to the workforce.
“Creating a more conducive environment for women to rejoin the workforce will also help address the tight labour market we are currently experiencing,” said Chin Chung Wen, chief distribution officer at AIA Singapore.
