THE local bond market has had a Goldilocks year so far, not great but not so bad. For the first nine months of 2015, new issues totalled S$17.7 billion, which is down 11.5 per cent from the S$20 billion raised during the same period last year.
But contrast this with equity fund raising of Singapore companies which brought in a paltry US$91.7 million for the nine months of this year.
