AXA Insurance offers free GP teleconsultations, medicine delivery till Dec 31

AXA Insurance on Monday said it is offering unlimited free teleconsultations with general practitioners (GP), and waiving delivery fees for medication, to all individuals in Singapore from July 23 to Dec 31.

Patients will only have to pay for the cost of their medication, the insurer said. The initiative is launched in partnership with healthcare provider Fullerton Health.

Users do not need to sign up for an AXA insurance policy to be eligible. However, they need to register on the AXA website by Sept 30.

Video consultations with general practitioners can be booked and administered through the Fullerton Health FHN3 app from 8.30am to 5.30pm on Mondays to Fridays, excluding public holidays. Medication will be delivered to patients within their selected timeslot.

After Dec 31, those who have signed up can continue to have video consultations on the app at a member rate of S$10 per teleconsultation, excluding medications, procedures and investigations, AXA said.

Sean Goh, managing director, life, AXA Insurance, said that people were seeking safe and convenient access to medical support as concerns about the Covid-19 pandemic remain.

He added that the insurer was "providing greater access to medical teleconsultations at a time where it's most needed and beneficial".
