Beware exclusions on travel insurance to Hong Kong

Insurers cite MFA advisory on deferring "non-essential travel" as basis for restrictions or exclusions on a travel policy

Portions of a travel policy subject to exclusions because of the Hong Kong riots are typically travel interruption features - to cover flight delays or cancellations, for instance - and injuries or accidents caused by the riots.
