CENTRAL bankers have been resorting to "jawboning" of late in order to curb inflation expectations.
For instance, St Louis Federal Reserve president James Bullard and 12 other participants on the policy-setting US Federal Open Market Committee have suggested that interest rates should rise in late-2022 or 2023.
