Nexia TS rebrands as CLA Global TS; to develop scholarship, training programme with ITE

BUSINESS advisory group Nexia TS announced on Tuesday (Nov 1) that it has rebranded as CLA Global TS, a move which comes after the group joined CLA Global as an independent network member.

Under the new arrangement, CLA Global will become a member firm for Singapore, South-east Asia and China as well as serve as CLA Global’s key leading firm in Asia.

Separately, the group said it is also working with the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) College Central to develop a scholarship and training programme for students in business studies.

The programme will include book prizes and scholarships to cover college fees, and mentoring and management trainee programmes. More details on the three-year collaboration will be announced at a later date, said CLA Global TS.

“While academic success is important, we should support graduates who may not enjoy a head start entering the economy due to their academic performance,” said Henry Tan, group chief executive and chief innovation officer at CLA Global TS.

Tan said he hopes the new scholarship programme with ITE will help graduates gain the skills needed to succeed and, at the same time, help the company identify talents to bring on board.
