Key feature of Governance Week is Statement of Support by corporates to uphold, advance good governance standards

THE Securities Investors Association (Singapore) (SIAS) is holding the 7th Singapore Corporate Governance Week 2016 themed "Change and Innovation in Governance", from Sept 26 to Sept 30, 2016. Organised by SIAS, CG Week is endorsed and supported by the Association of Banks Singapore, the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) and the Singapore Accountancy Commission ("SAC"), as well as the Singapore Exchange.
A key feature of the week-long programme is the Statement of Support by corporates to uphold and advance good corporate governance standards. This statement reads: "As an organisation, we are committed to upholding high standards of corporate governance to enhance shareholder value. We believe practising good corporate governance is central to the health and stability of our financial markets and economy."
