Addvalue: Technology attractive to high-end players
It is one of only two authorised global developers cum suppliers for BGAN
ADDVALUE Technologies, which this week unveiled a proposed disposal of a subsidiary for $330 million, said yesterday that the group's technology is attractive to players interested in expanding into the field of high-end broadband satellite communications.
The satellite communications group said this in response to a commentary yesterday in BT's Hock Lock Siew column ("Addvalue deal: do the values add up?").
Addvalue said that the group is one of the only two authorised global developers cum suppliers for both land and maritime Inmarsat Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) satellite terminals, and the only one residing in Asia.
